Seven IUSD teachers and Plaza Vista’s principal have received the 2019 Orange County Music and Arts Administrators (OCMAA) award. Congratulations to the following recipients:
- Samantha Gardner – Portola High School Dance Teacher
- Katherine Findlay – Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher (grades 4-6)
- Adrienne Larsen – Elementary Vocal Music Teacher (grades 4-6)
- Karen Sposato – Elementary Music Teacher (grades 4-6)
- Rebekah Scott – Sierra Vista Middle School Secondary Vocal Music Teacher
- Vicki Artiano – Creekside High School Art Teacher
- James Parker – Plaza Vista School Principal
- Tina Glander Peterson – Irvine High School Director of Choirs also received the Irene Schoepfle Life Time Achievement Award in Music Education
