IUSD in the News: Young inventors astound in 'the ultimate science fair' at IVC

More than 400 students from the Irvine and Tustin unified school districts showcased their own creative inventions and fielded questions from curious visitors during the 26th annual Astounding Inventions contest.

Presented by Greenberg Traurig LLP and the Irvine Valley College Foundation, the Jan. 26 event was held in IVC’s Hart Gymnasium, and it was covered by the Orange County Register. Reporter Lauren Jow talked to several of the young inventors and interviewed Greenberg Traurig's Jeffrey Joy about his firm’s efforts to pursue patents for the winners.
