This image comes courtesy of the Irvine Historical Society, which we found tucked away next to the Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course. President Gail Daniels was kind enough to show us around and let us thumb through scores of cataloged photos of IUSD schools, including some that predate the district itself. Daniels said many of the shots were taken by the Irvine World News and later passed on to the historical society, and we hope to publish more in future posts.
