Irvine campuses head into the home stretch of the 2011-12 school year

It’s a question we get a lot this time of year: When is the last day of school in IUSD?

Well, we just checked, and it’s less than three weeks away, on Thursday, June 21. Meanwhile, there are some other big dates on the horizon. IUSD’s high school commencement ceremonies will be staged June 18 through June 20, and you can find all the specific dates, times and locations here. The high school summer session then kicks off June 25 and ends on Aug 3, while K-8 summer school spans July 2 through July 27. Year-round schools start up again on July 24, and campuses on the traditional calendar begin the 2012-13 school year on Sept. 5. For more calendar information, click here.
