A Creekside High School student’s artwork is on display at a local intersection after the teen was named one of eight winners in a countywide contest to design anti-smoking posters.

Hannah Esporma’s design, which was one of approximately 100 entries in the “Tobacco and Hollywood” poster contest, was recently unveiled at a bus stop at Alton Parkway and Von Karman Avenue in Irvine. Collaborating with community leaders, educators and students, the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Tobacco Use Prevention Program sponsored the contest to help young people make informed decisions – and to counter the influence that smoking in films has on youth.
