IUSD will host a blended learning information night for parents of students in grades K-6 interested in independent study options on Thursday, November 9, from 6-7 p.m. at the Creekside Education Center Multipurpose Room. During this meeting, attendees will learn more about the new blended learning option, its implementation and benefits, including enhanced guidance, support and enrichment for independent study students.
Kindergarten through 6th grade students in the blended learning model complete coursework through both virtual curriculum and offline coursework, and attend weekly, in-person workshops for content support and collaborative activities.
