Irvine Unified School District’s Special Education Department and Community Advisory Committee are hosting a free Abilities Awareness Event and Community Resource Fair!

Wednesday April 27 at Beacon Park K-8 School 
200 Cultivate, Irvine, CA 92618
5:30-7:30 p.m. 

Students, staff, and the IUSD community are encouraged to attend this exceptional evening.Inspirational speaker, Sean McElwee from the TV show on A&E, “Born this Way” will share his personal experiences and discuss the importance of having an abilities-focused perspective. DJ B Diamond and the Northwood High School’s Instrumental Music Program will provide entertainment for the evening.  The event also includes interactive community resource booths with representatives from the Irvine Police Department, the City of Irvine, YMCA, Segerstrom Center of the Arts, IATP Coffee Roasters, Gigi’s Playhouse, and more.
