Application and Permit for Use of School Facilities

Applicants must submit the Application and Permit for Use of School Facilities form.

Applicants must review and sign the Rules, Regulations and Policies of the Irvine Unified School District Regarding Community Use of School Buildings and Grounds.

A Certificate of Insurance and Endorsement must be provided to complete the application process.

Based on the application, user will be categorized in one of three groups.
Group A--- IUSD school-related groups or non-profit groups organized to promote youth and IUSD school activities.
Group B--- Non-profit groups which expend their proceeds for the benefit of IUSD students, or other educational organizations. To qualify for Group B, the sum of 51% of the participants must be Irvine residents. Churches are included as Group B users by law.
Group C--- Organizations that are not categorized under Group A or B. These groups are usually for profit organizations.

Applicants in User Groups B and C are subject to a fee. The fee schedule is updated each year and automatically escalates by the Consumer Price Index (CPI). If direct costs, such as employee salaries or utilities increase beyond the CPI, those increases will be applied to the fee schedule as well.
