PRINCIPAL'S DESIGNEE

ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATION - 2138

Each principal shall designate a member of the certificated staff who is authorized to act in the absence of all the administrators assigned to that site. The staff shall be informed, at the beginning of the school year, who has been so designated. Staff shall also be notified if the designee is changed.

In the absence of both the administrator(s) and designee, the school secretary will have the information as to who is acting designee. Such designee may be another member of the certificated staff, a neighboring principal or a district office administrator.
