The Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) is proud to partner with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) to offer students ages 6 to 18 the OCTA Youth Ride Free Bus Pass program. The program is grant-funded by the California Department of Transportation and the California Air Resources Board through California Climate Investments which help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen the economy, and improve public health and the environment.
OCTA Youth Ride Free Passes are available at each IUSD school site. A completed and signed Parent Request Form (one per student) must be to be turned into your child's school to obtain the pass(es). OCTA Youth Ride Free Bus Passes can only be provided in-person. Hard copies of the Parent Request Form are available at your school site, if needed.
Purple/orange passes are valid through September 30, 2024.
Current blue passes are valid through September 30, 2025.
