Although the Bond Fire does not pose a threat to the City of Irvine or IUSD schools, according to IPD and OCFA, the entire city continues to experience unhealthy air quality. As a result, IUSD is unable to operate HVAC systems, a critical component to COVID-19 safety protocols and therefore IUSD schools will continue in distance learning Friday.
IUSD congratulates and honors its five 2020 Classified Employees of the Year – Kristine Arebalo, Susan Cortez, Cheryl Deason, Spencer Hoover and Judith Salazar.
