Services to be held Friday and Saturday in Orange for Meadow Park Principal Lisa Livernois

Memorial services have been announced for Lisa Livernois, the beloved Meadow Park Elementary principal who lost her battle with cancer over the weekend.

A vigil for Lisa has been scheduled to start at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 at St. Norbert Catholic Church in Orange. Funeral services will be held at the same location the following day, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23.

St. Norbert is located at 300 E. Taft Ave. in Orange.

Over at Meadow Park, Interim Principal Robin Beacham said Wednesday that the office staff has received hundreds of notes, cards and letters from students expressing their love for Miss Livernois and their grief over her passing. These messages have been collected in large binders that are set to be presented to Lisa’s parents and other family members during a schoolwide gathering on the blacktop Friday morning.

“We will all be wearing red for the Los Angeles Angels,” Beacham said. “She loved the Angels.”
