The Irvine Unified School District is pleased to announce that Molly Daley has been named Principal of University Park Elementary School for the 2017-18 school year.
Mrs. Daley is an experienced IUSD educator who most recently served as Assistant Principal at Cypress Village Elementary in Irvine. Mrs. Daley is well known to the University Park community as she worked there until 2016 as a teacher leader on special assignment supporting staff and Mrs. Amoroso. Mrs. Daley taught fourth grade at Brywood Elementary in classrooms much like those at University Park. She will work closely with Mrs. Amoroso in the coming weeks to make sure that the transition in leadership is smooth and effective.
Mrs. Daley has three children, two away at college and a daughter in high school. She enjoys visiting her children in Boston and San Luis Obispo, as well as family in Chicago during the summer. Molly is eager to return to University Park and will rejoin dedicated staff as they continue to enhance student learning through collaboration and a focus on high-quality instruction.
