In response to the massive earthquake that struck Japan’s eastern coast and the devastating tsunami that followed, IUSD Superintendent Gwen Gross has issued the following statement:
"On behalf of the Irvine Unified School District, I wish to offer our deepest condolences to the citizens of Japan, which has suffered a tragedy of epic proportion. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, as well as the many friends and family members abroad who are reaching out to their loved ones."
