IPSF reminds you to dine early, dine late and dine often to support schools

Scores of Irvine eateries are serving up a slice of their profits to help IUSD schools during the Irvine Public Schools Foundation’s second annual “iDine for Irvine” fundraiser, which continues through Friday.

We think this a pretty good deal all the way around. You get a great excuse to dine out with friends. Local businesses benefit. And schools get a percentage of the bill. Oh, and remember that the City of Irvine is kicking in a dollar for every dollar donated to IPSF as a result of last year's local Measure R initiative. For a list of the restaurants that are participating, click here. Note that the foundation is urging you to bring a flier for each meal to help the restaurants keep track of school-related sales. They're also inviting you to share your dining experiences by submitting a photo or two. Pictures may be sent to info@ipsf.net or posted directly to the "iDine" Facebook event page by clicking here. Bon appetit!
