Enrollment for students who will be new to IUSD in the 2013-14 school year begins March 8

It’s hard to believe, but it’s already time to start making plans for the 2013-14 school year. And if your child will be joining IUSD in the fall, we’ve got a pretty important date to share: March 8, 2013 is when the enrollment window opens for all students who will be new to the district.

So by now you might be asking yourself, “What do I need to do at that point?” Well, the district has set up a webpage that should put you on the right path. The “IUSD Enrollment” page has all of the pertinent information, including a link to an online form you'll use to initiate the enrollment process. There are, of course, a few additional steps to take, concluding with final verification at your neighborhood school -- or IUSD’s Westwood Training Center if it's during the summer months. Note that incoming students must have a valid address within IUSD’s attendance area, and there are some required documents you'll need along the way. For more information on enrollment in IUSD, click here.
