Summer School Team
Our year-round staff and summer school teachers were hard at work supporting summer school and preparing for the next school year! Human Resources Team
This summer, our District staff and Human Resources team have been diligently preparing for the Teacher Induction Program for the upcoming school year! Hear from Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) Kelly Rafter on the work that goes into building a successful program. We’re committed to providing our new teachers with the highest quality mentoring and educational experience. We can’t wait to welcome them and support them on their journey!
Information Technology Teams
Have you ever wondered what happens to your Chromebooks and textbooks after you return them at the end of the school year? Our dedicated IT Team handles these important tasks! This summer, our PC Services team worked to refresh and replace about 13,000 Chromebooks, while Educational Technology (EdTech) has been working to update the textbooks, with support from the Warehouse Team.
Our Network Services team has also been hard at work replacing thousands of network switches and wireless access points to enhance connectivity across campuses.
In addition to managing equipment and software, EdTech also provided Professional Learning opportunities for staff, helping them grow and sharpen skills this summer.
Our IT Team works tirelessly year-round to support our students and families. Thank you for all you do!

Custodial Team
IUSD’s Custodial Team works year-round to prepare, update and maintain campuses and facilities for our students, families and staff. Our District would not be able to provide the highest quality education we can envision without our amazing Custodial Teams!
Facilities Planning & Construction Services
IUSD’s Facilities Planning & Construction Services plan and oversee the construction of various projects on our school sites and facilities! They have been hard at work this summer working on Measure E projects to modernize school sites and complete several construction projects!
This summer’s Measure E projects included the construction of new buildings and upgrades at Irvine High School and Santiago Hills, Greentree and Culverdale Elementary schools!
Measure E, passed by Irvine voters in June 2016, works to ensure all students have access to modern learning environments and technology, which helps support students academically and prepare them for college, career and life readiness. Learn more about Measure E at IUSD.org/MeasureE
