Update 2: Thank you for your patience. We have now been given clearance to release students to parents. If your child walks or bikes home independently, they will not be released until a parent picks them up. We will supervise children on campus until parents arrive. If your child attends CDC, they will be escorted over to the program. If provided, additional clearance to release students to walk or ride home, we will notify you.

At the recommendation of the Irvine Police Department, Canyon View and Northwood High School have been put on lockdown due to a residential burglary. Police are searching for suspects and want to assure the safety of students. In an abundance of caution, we will hold the students until instructed by Irvine Police Department.
Students will remain in their classrooms until we are given notification to release.
We realize we are approaching dismissal time and the lockdown may continue past our dismissal time. Please be patient, safety is of our utmost concern. Additional information will be provided as soon as it is available.
