Information Technology provides tools and support to enrich learning, keep our community connected, and help our growing district to thrive.  Our department includes dedicated Administration, Educational Technology, Information Services, Technical Services teams.  Each team serves a unique role meeting the needs of IUSD's students, parents, and staff.

The IT Administration Team is responsible for department leadership and operations. Through our Help Desk, this team quickly connects customers to the support resources they need.  Admin staff support our schools with technology planning, purchasing and contract administration.   With over fifty active projects, the Admin Team provides essential project management and communications to keep our work moving forward.

Library/Media Coordinator 

Educational Technology focuses on supporting teachers and students in the classroom.  EdTech offers ongoing professional learning, including group trainings, coaching, office hours and co-teaching opportunities to help staff leverage technology to engage students and enhance learning. EdTech facilitates the selection, implementation and use of educational software.  EdTech maintains IUSD's primary communications platforms, including the website and IUSD.TV, our video repository.

Information Services Coordinator 

Information Services supports IUSD's data systems, including the Student Information System, Parent Portal, and solutions that support district operations.  IS provides data systems and reports to assess student needs and progress and meet State and program requirements.   The team also develops custom programs and builds integrations between the many business and student systems that are essential to the success of our schools.

Technology Support Supervisor

Our newly formed Technical Services Team brings together Network Services, Systems Administration, and Technology Support to deliver secure, reliable technology that keeps our schools running smoothly and supports both classroom learning and daily operations.

The Network Services branch designs and maintains the backbone of IUSD's technology. Network Services staff are responsible for network availability and security. They support all network-related hardware and software, manage user accounts, wireless access, Email and Internet access. PC Services staff act as a bridge between our schools and our department. They are often the first point of contact for general technology issues and school site support. These dedicated individuals support a wide variety of technology equipment, software, and related systems.
