ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATION - 5113.1
A student absent from school due to the observance of a religious holiday or ceremony shall be provided all of the accommodations typically afforded to students returning from excused absences.
Students shall be allowed to complete all assignments (that can reasonably be provided) and make up tests missed during the absence. Upon satisfactory completion of the assignments, students shall receive full credit.
The teacher of the class from which the student is absent shall determine which tests and assignments shall be reasonably equivalent to, but not necessarily identical to, the tests and assignments that the pupil missed during the absence.
