STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES

BOARD POLICY - 9110.1

One student representative from each comprehensive high school selected by the Associated Student Body shall sit with the Board of Education and shall serve in an advisory capacity.

In accordance with law, only Board Members duly elected by voters of the District have the power to vote on actions brought before the Board of Education; however, the student representatives are expected and encouraged to introduce and discuss items for Board consideration.

Further, the student board members will have advisory voting privileges.
