The naming of schools will follow a pattern based upon the naming concept used in the village or identified community.
Elementary schools: Elementary schools will be named by using either an adjacent street, park, or village name.
Middle schools: Middle schools will be named by using a reference to significant landmarks in the community, such as a lake and/or by reference to historical significance which may emphasize the Spanish heritage of the area.
High schools: High Schools will be considered individually.
Schools, fields, and facilities will not be named after individuals.
Relocated schools may be permitted to keep their original name.
