Creativity and innovation are essential elements for improving curriculum and instruction to meet community, societal, and educational needs.  The introduction and support of innovative programs provides the means for evaluating new instructional and/or curriculum ideas judged to have high success potential.  All innovative programs shall include a needs assessment, purpose of the innovative program, goals and objectives, instructional processes, evaluation procedures, and a listing of program costs.

The Board of Education supports the idea of seeking alternative sources of funding to establish programs to meet identified student and program needs.
