Only the top four teams in each state are invited to the national Academic Pentathlon. Competitors are tested across five core disciplines: fine arts, literature, mathematics, science and social science.

The victorious team comprised the following students:

  • Esther Ahn
  • Claire Karimi
  • Hanming Li
  • Katie Nagai
  • Brian Quinonez
  • Joshua Robertson

  • Rudra Thakur
  • Yun Jen Yeh

Several members, including Esther Ahn, Katie Nagai, Joshua Robertson, and Yun Jen Yeh, earned medals for their outstanding performances across various rounds. Notably, both Yun Jen and Katie were awarded overall medals for their individual achievements.

Head Coach Jon Pang expressed immense pride in his team's accomplishments, stating, "Our Lakeside Pentathletes have once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and teamwork.
