The School Site Council (SSC) exists to plan, monitor and evaluate the activities and monies spent for state and federally funded programs provided at the school site to ensure student success. The SSC also informs the development and adoption of a Single School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), which is then recommended to the School Board for approval. This plan is evaluated and revised annually, with goals projected across a 3 year horizon.
If you are looking for ways to be a part of your student's community being a part of the School Site Council and/or the ELAC committee is a wonderful way to go. Please reach out to your school and let them know of your interest.
