IUSD students shined during the District’s 43rd Annual Science Fair! More than 300 projects were submitted by students in grades 6-12 with nearly 200 advancing to the OC Science and Engineering Fair.
Nearly 250 IUSD students, from elementary through high school grade levels, were selected to join the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA) Honor Groups.
IUSD was named a top ranking district, ranking as the 14th best school district in California and the No. 1 best school district in Orange County by Niche. University High School was also named a top 10 public high school. 
Three IUSD students have been named among the top 300 scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors.
The District’s Annual Survey is open through Friday, February 2. Feedback and responses play a vital role in developing a roadmap for success to enhance educational experiences within the District.
This annual honor goes to first- or second-year instructors who go above and beyond while demonstrating professional curiosity and an unbridled enthusiasm for teaching.
IUSD’s Teacher of the Year program recognizes exceptional instructors at the high, middle and elementary school levels. Congratulations to this year's honorees Kristie Donavan, Sherilyn Cammarato and Margot Tyson!
