Meadow Park: Kids Run the OC Marathon, Information Meeting in the MPR
Please join Coach Natalia Winter tomorrow, Friday, February 9th following Flag Deck from 8:30-9:00 AM in the MPR to get information about this year’s KIDS Run the OC Marathon. Kids Run the OC was designed to help kids become more physically active. During the 10 week training program offered once a week after-school, students will accumulate 25.2 miles. The final mile will be run on the day of the event on May 5, 2018, for a grand total of 26.2 miles! All students are encouraged to participate no matter their athletic ability. Lace up and let the fun begin!

Practices will be held on Thursday, immediately after school for both lower and upper grades for approximately one hour. We start on Thursday Feb 22, 2018 (6th graders will be at Outdoor Ed)
Please note that registration is a two-step process. You must register with Kids Run The OC Marathon in addition to registering with Mustang Marathoners at Meadow Park. When registering online make sure to select Meadow Park as your child's school we are school 214
KROC $29 + Convenience Fee: $ 2.25
Total Order Amount:$31.25
Meadow Park Mustang Marathoners: $10
(This can be paid in Cash or Check Payable to Meadow Park PTA, please include your child's first and last name on the check and place in an envelope which can be dropped off at the front office and addressed to KROC). Total cost of the program is $41.25.
Includes 10 Weeks of Coaching, Nutritional Challenges, Prizes, Meadow Park Team T-Shirt, KROC Finishers T-Shirt, 26.2 Marathon Medal (upon completion of race day) Certificate and lots of fun!
