Education Code section 5019.5 requires school districts that elect board members by trustee area to adjust the trustee area boundaries following each decennial federal census using population figures validated by the Population Research Unit of the Department of Finance, if the trustee area populations have adjusted by 10 percent or more.
The District has reviewed the adopted trustee area plan and determined that adjustment of the trustee area boundaries is required based on the results of the 2020 census.
