Principal’s Message – Tips for a Successful Parent Conference

Welcome to the 2011-12 school year!  Class lists will be posted on our Vista Verde website or via the MyIUSD parent portal for those who already have an account at 4 p.m. on Monday, July 25th.  Student supply lists for each grade level are also listed on our Vista Verde website below.
At this time, classroom assignments are considered to be firm, though last minute notification of withdrawals or increased enrollments during the first few days of school may necessitate staffing changes and/or classroom reassignments.   Students’ attitudes towards their teachers and school are highly influenced by the attitudes of their parents.  We can all provide our children with a successful beginning of the school year experience by responding to their classroom assignments with positive enthusiasm.
Please join me in welcoming our new staff members along with our stellar team of veteran teachers back to school on July 28th. I look forward to meeting you all and to beginning a wonderful year of success for your children.
Best wishes and a very warm welcome!
Sincerely,
Catherine Holmes

The Vista Verde Middle School, consisting of grade levels 6 through 8, accentuates academics. Together, the Middle School staff and students foster a feeling of " family" in which the staff takes time to get to know the students.

The Vista Verde Middle School program consists of the following:
