Students 

. 
6th grade is busy selling See’s candy for their 
fundraiser that will help offset the cost of 
Outdoor Education. All order forms due on 
Friday, 9 December. 
. 
All 6th grade Science Fair projects will be on 
display in the MPR on 10 December. 
. 
Our student body recently participated in a 
food drive for Families Forward. Through the 
generosity of our community we were able to 
contribute to families in need throughout the 
area. 


 

. 
Next week, Student Council will spearhead the 
“Home for the Holidays Donation Drive” which 
will benefit our Irvine Animal Care Center. 
Flyer will be sent home soon. 


Staff 

. 
Mr. Mai and Ms. Ingram recently led staff 
through a professional development 
training session on the usage of various 
technology equipment here at Stonegate. 
. 
A team of teachers, Ms. Roggero and I will 
all be working on our California 
Distinguished School application. 
. 
The bittersweet staffing news is that Ms. 
Judy Dickey (5th grade) and Ms. Bonnie 
Richards (RSP) will be retiring at the end of 
this school year. We wish them both 
nothing but the best and thank each of 
them for their years of dedicated service to

next month.
