Applications for substitute teachers are accepted only when posted on our Job Opportunities page.  When posted, priority will be given to credentialed applicants.

The current rate of pay for substitute teachers is $95.00 per day. The long-term rate is $105.00 (after 15 days in the same assignment retroactive to the first day in assignment).

• California Clear Teaching Credential or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
• CBEST exam passed
