Parent Communication
Student Conduits
To sustain effective school-home communication, Canyon View uses a Thursday Student Conduit. Both the school office and classroom teachers will send all school communications home to parents each Thursday via a Conduit folder in your child's backpack.
Our hope is that the community will become accustomed to receiving most school information on this conduit day and regularly expect their children to successfully deliver "the mail." Naturally, there will be some incidental communications, such as parent notification for conferences, weekly classroom reports, and dated material that we receive unexpectedly, which may go home on other days. However, you should expect general school-home communications to come home every Thursday.
