Bullying / Cyber-bullying
Creekside High School takes bullying very seriously. We teach students the values of integrity, mutual respect, personal and social responsibility, and compassion and expect demonstrations of those values on and off campus. Furthermore, every student has a right to come to a school in a hostile free environment.
Students who feel they are subject to bullying are encouraged come speak to a counselor, administrator, teacher or any adult on campus. The school is equipped to help, but needs to know in order to address issues that arise.
Here are some valuable resources for students, parents, and teachers:
Community Based English Tutoring
Community Based English Tutoring is a free tutorial training program offered to parents of school-age children throughout the Irvine Unified School District. The program’s goal is to empower parents with the language skills and strategies necessary for them to become active participants in their children’s education. Experienced, certificated teachers instruct the classes.
