BOARD POLICY - 9110

The Board of Education shall consist of five (5) members elected by-trustee area by the qualified voters of the District. The term of office for members elected in regular elections shall be four years, commencing on the first Friday in December next succeeding their election. Effective January 1, 2019, the term of office for members elected in regular elections shall be four years, commencing on the second Friday in December next succeeding their election. Member terms shall be staggered so that as nearly as practicable, one half of the members shall be elected in each even numbered year. Board elections shall be held biennially in the even number years on the same day as the general election (on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November). The first election following the adoption of this Policy written on November 1994.
