WORK STOPPAGE

BOARD POLICY - 4141.6

In the event of an emergency situation involving interruption of work or withholding of services by an employee group, formally recognized unit or otherwise, the Superintendent is authorized and directed to act on behalf of the Board of Education to maintain a safe and orderly educational program for all students, employees, volunteer workers, visitors and others. The Board of Education shall be immediately notified of any action taken by the Superintendent under this policy. If the Superintendent is unavailable to act, or if the position should be vacant at the time of such emergency, the acting superintendent shall carry out the terms and conditions of this policy.
